I'm comming back.

I'm reviving my blogger page for more serious, less livejournal oriented material.

Now, time to comment on something. THIS

First, I'll start with a little overview for those who wonder why they should read the article. The Pope when addressing a group, made reference to a quote that was a little degrading to Islam. Ok, a lot degrading to Islam. But, he was only talking about a quote.

The Muslim world reacted with overblown righteous anger. No doubt they've been given inaccurate information about what has been said. Much like when additional cartoons were added into the list of Danish cartoons shown to the Muslim world.

Here is what pisses me off. In the article it says "Palestinians attacked five churches in the West Bank". This is the same call us violent and we'll kill you BS from the Danish cartoon affair.

Where is our righteous anger? When am I aloud to say "YOU tread on two billion Christians. You tread on the west" There is a point we have to let it be know that something is NOT acceptable. Why don't we convey this message?

It seems to me that we are told that only two points of view exist on every issue. That is what paralyzes us. That we are either for the eradication of Muslums, or we must try to "understand" them no matter what we do. That we can't be critical of a single group of Muslims without being against all of them. I don't buy that. I know a number of wonderful Muslims, but I sure as hell am against Osama Bin Laden.

I'm reviving this blog because I'm tired of not seeing real dialog. Blogs are bringing some of it out, but there are things to be said that I'm not finding out there. I'm writing because I'm feeling angry.

Someone might see this blog.

It has occurred to me that as I occasionally post comments on peoples bloggers; that people might just follow a link in this general direction.

Where is the content? Well some time ago I switched to livejournal. It has finally occured to me that I should provide a link so that people who stumble upon this can get some more current content.

Why was this never in the news

For being an earth rapist President Bush is sure doing alright with this.

http://www.fossil.energy.gov/programs/powersystems/futuregen/

Why isn’t this thing in the news anywhere? You hear Bush mention clean coal technologies, but you never hear about this stuff except from him. There was some emissions that he got out of diesel fuel(maybe sulfur?), as well as some industrial emissions laws he put into effect, but the papers put the usual too little, too late spin. But this is just awesome.

Just a little background information the United States has about 25% of the world coal supply. Personally I would like to switch to Nuclear energy, but getting rid of coal emissions is definitely important to me.

While I’m on the subject of energy I should share my own views. I would center energy strategy on three goals. First, I would try to decentralize the power grid. Mainly, I would encourage people to connect into the grid at home and generate electricity with solar panels, wind power, hydroelectric power, or fuel cells. The next goal would be to gain energy independence by creating hydrogen fuel from nuclear power, and from bacteria. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/05/030521092358.htm
Ethanol as a fuel source in addition to hydrogen would also play a role. http://www.fuelcellstore.com/cgi-bin/fuelweb/view=NavPage/cat=96
The third role of my energy policy would be infrastructure in order to speed up and make possible the transition to clean and abundant energy.

The securing of energy would also be important however I would place that under nation security rather than energy policy.

I wonder...

I was just thinking about all the conspiracy theories out there. The tinfoil hat brigade has a strong presence on the internet. If you don't believe me http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&safe=off&q=jews+control+the+media&spell=1 .

Anyways on to my point, a lot of the time I hear conspiracy theories about imperialist from the left. But, if you believe that there is a secret society out to control everyone, why package it all up for them by going socialist. I mean isn't consolidating all power into the hands of the state essentially giving it to them. Going left seems like the opposite of what you should do. They are out to get us so lets turn all our power over to the government. If they are right about some conspiracy to take over the world isn't going socialist the worst thing you can do?

Talk about flip flopping

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while(who am I apologizing to?). That last one was a tall order turns our senate voting records only are online back to about 91ish. I'm gonna have to do some work in order to get specifics. I've seen statistics here and that that support my claims but I want information strait from the sources. You simply can't trust everything that is in print otherwise.

For now though I would like to comment on this http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/08/19/politics/main636970.shtml.

Kerry is criticizing President Bush's plan for troop withdraw as being a "hastily announced plan". This is of course right after he criticizes it for not taking effect soon enough. Talk about flip flopping he does it in the same statement.

Specifically he cites North Korea. The problem is that troops in North Korea serve as little more than potential human sacrifices to insure that we go to war if South Korea is attacked. We can deploy from both Guam, and Japan if necessary. Not to mention the floating cites that our navy has. Also infrastructure will remain in place.

The Blog Begins . . .

I made myself cornbread today!

Ok, you don't care. However, this blog isn't about that. I'm starting this blog in order to rant, and make my political views known. Also there may be stuff about other things that interest me. If your lucky I may even serialize a story or two.

There are alot of things that bother me and alot of things that I just get curious about for no reason. I'll just have to know something so I rush to google in order to find the answer. That is why you may see a heading under the words random topic. All in all, I hope that this blog is an enlightening and interesting read.

PS. If you want to know my views then you'll have to read.
